How it works
A Biofilter uses plants, natural substrate and biological processes to clean water — the same way a healthy wetland does. Water is drawn through planted filtration zones, where root systems and beneficial bacteria break down waste and keep the water clear, without chlorine or chemical treatment.
The result is water that stays clean on its own, season after season, with far less maintenance than a conventional filtration system.
